I have figured out my projects, yes, I said projects. I will be rereading Inferno and making notes of everywhere Robert Langdon visits and then taking pictures of the locations. So, in a nutshell, I'll be illustrating the book. It's one thing to use your imagination, but somethings need a little help... this will be one of those times. I'll use my digital camera for this one.
My second project will be what I mentioned in a previous post. I will take photos of the various sculptures, but not a straight photo (I really don't like those kinds of shots). I'll get lots up unclose shots and try to focus on the expression of the emotion, whether it be of the face or hands. I 'll also see if I can find other stone type structures that may evoke some kind of emotion and get photos of those. This project will mainly be done with my holga camera, but using digital as backup!
Turns out I also have a 'class' blog that I need to participate in as part of my grade. There are three of us going for credit, so each of us get three days to post something during the trip and we each will do one "looking back" post.
Now on to the stuff where you'll say to me "poor bunny" while secretly thinking "get over it, you're going to Florence!"
Have ya seen the movie Taken with Liam Neeson.... need I say more? Thanks to my big brother for that reminder (more than once).
The airport in Paris scares the bejeebers out of me while at the same time seeming rather easy. I watched a video about how to get around it, didn't help me at all! Probably because the man's accent is so unbelievable thick. If my connecting gate is where I think it is, only accessible by foot. I have about a 2 hour layover both times I'm in Paris, so I have time to get 'lost' then 'found'.
